We offer various
courses:
1.)
Professional Student
Upon enrolling in the program you will gain access to the theory of this
course on the Internet. Our teaching platform is “Blackboard”, a service
used by many Universities around the world.
After you have studied the basic modules, we will enhance your
theoretical knowledge with one-on-one online meetings. We are utilizing
a program that allows us to meet with you on the computer and share our
pictures and presentations with you. At this time you also may share
your pictures with us. This will give you the opportunity to discuss all
your questions and further your education by tying many of the loose
ends together.
Once you have studied the first half of the theory, you may schedule
your 2 1/2 practical training days with any one of the instructors
listed on the website.
These will be very intensive one-on-one training days.
You will then resume to study the second half of the theory and meet
with us on line again. Once you have accomplished the theory for part
two, you will sign up for the second part of your practical training,
which consists usually of another 2 1/2 days.
To qualify for the final practicum, you will have to submit a case
study, developed during your training days. An essay is part of your
qualification requirements.
Finally you will meet with other students for 5 days of intensive
training, including one day of horsemanship instruction geared
especially towards the barefoot trimmer. On day six of this series you
will sit your final exam.
You will only be admitted to the final practicum and exam with the
signatures of all your instructors, which verify that you have met the
training requirements.
